By now, you’ve hopefully seen the ambitious and exciting ANZA overseas trip plans for 2015. The lovely Laura Gordon, will be in charge of the ANZA Taiwan extravaganza planned for May/June.
Initial details are as follows:
3 DAYS OF CYCLING based out of Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan.
THE “PYRENEES” OF NORTH EAST ASIA, SOME OF THE MOST SPECTACULAR SCENIC CLIMBS IN THE REGION”
- DAY 1 | Travel/Transit (about 11 hours, inclusive of flight + transfer)
- DAY 2 | Wu Ling – 150KM – (3,200M climbing)
- DAY 3 | Sun Moon Lake Loop – 100K (1,800M climbing)
- DAY 4 | Yushan/Jade Mountaian – 180KM (3,200 climbing)
- DAY 5 | Transit/Travel Day return to Singapore
DURATION: 5 DAYS
WHEN: End of May/early June to take advantage of Vesak day public holiday (Friday 29/5) it’s likely to be between 29/5-2/6 kinda timing.
Annual Leave required: 2 DAYS (+ VESAK PUBLIC)
EXPERIENCE: Iintermediate & advanced riders (a lot of hills in Taiwan)
DISTANCE: 120KM – 180KM a day, and lots of climbing!
SLOTS OPEN: 18 – 20 PEOPLE
